Janaka Selekta (UK / Sri Lanka)
Born in Sri Lanka and now based in London, DJ, and producer Janaka Selekta crafts a distinctive fusion of Indian folk traditions and bass-driven electronic music. He is celebrated for his unique fusion of Indian folk traditions with cutting-edge, bass-driven electronic music.

Beginning in San Francisco's underground jungle scene, he co-founded the now-defunct Dhamaal Sound System, which became renowned for pioneering South Asian electronic events and released an internationally acclaimed album championed by John Peel.
His innovative approach has earned him numerous accolades, including San Francisco's Best Vinyl DJ, and led to collaborations with luminaries like Karsh Kale, Cheb i Sabbah, and Asian Dub Foundation.
